Well, I owed up to my wife and son this post. After more than six weeks, I find a quite moment to select few photos to share with the whole world about my first born son, Matthew Ngo. It is a blessing from God for us to have everything that we have at the moment, a newborn son, a new home, and especially the love and support from both sides of the families. Thanks to God. During the last six weeks taking care of Matthew, there are no words to describe how grateful I am to our parents who fought through many hardship in life to giving us the chance to become who we are today.

I’m forever grateful to you all.

Labor pain…. a beginning of a new journey ….

Love and Respect to our parents and to all the mothers

The moment of seeing Matthew hand, my heart sink…. nervous ….. joy….. happy…. I am a DAD now.

Matthew, I heard you cried for the first time in my life. I didn’t know what to do. I felt so helpless at the time. I just snapped away bunch of pictures.

Looking at you… I saw a corned head, dumbo ears, my nose ), two tiny hands, two chicken legs. Oh! that “thing” is huge. Good genes, son. ))

You’re looking funny. At least, you have your mom good-looking features. You’re going to look better than me. Hmmm…o.k., I love you.

Right away, you were sucking your tiny tiny fingers after your first bath in the delivery room.

You looked clean after all those gooey stuffs from mom wash away. I have a box of candy cigars given to us from our friend, Jennie, to congratulate us on

your arrival. You can’t have any. Candy is bad for your teeth. Oh! well, you don’t have any tooth yet. Let’s me finish them for you. Thanks son.

Matthew, don’t you already have enough attention from my wife. My wife and I just married last October. I just got her attention for about ……????

Since then, you stole all her attentions away from me. I was like single again, but I don’t have any more free time. Hmmm… Still, I love you.

Hahaha… why are you making a face? Because of your big mouth, big nose, dumbo ears, I love you.

Well, I should post a nice picture of you so that you don’t say that I keep teasing you.

Henry & Sierra Marlin – Fraternal Twins – Baby Portrait

Double the trouble or double the fun for Mike and Stacy Marlin who delivered their fraternal twins, Henry and Sierra, on January 23rd, 2009 at Fountain Valley Hospital. Henry Marlin was born at 5 lbs and 18 inches long while Sierra Marlin was born a little heavier at 6 lbs and 19 inches long. They are so adorable.

A little bee told me that there was a little conflict on naming the baby. Let me introduce Mike Marlin, who is in love with nature, especially the ocean that he was about to name his first newborn son as “Blue Marlin.” “The strikingly beautiful blue marlin is the largest of the Atlantic marlins and one of the biggest fish in the world”. Hey! you can’t beat that. Luckily, little boy Marlin was given the name as Henry to avoid all the teasing in the future. Better say thanks to mommy.

O.K. Henry and Sierra, let’s see what did you guys do on your photoshoot beside “eat, sleep, and s#@*”, quoted by Mike. )

Hello! If my name was Blue Marlin, I’m going to beat swimming legend Michael Phelps swimming world record.

Congratulation to Tony and Khanh on your healthy awesome looking little boy. We had a little photoshoot for Ryan who pretty much sleep most of the time; however, Khanh told us that all the action will be going on at late night since little Ryan will be awake and mess around. I’ll save it for the next one as photographing babies is an inevitable job perk. ) Oh! we did get a lot of valuable information on how to handle a precious newborn child as we are also expecting one.

Tony told us about the reason for his naming his first born child as Ryan Hoang Vu. To make it simple, I did a little research on babynamesworld on the meaning. Let’s see.
